Editor’s Picks - January

January isn’t the month for optimisation. It’s the month for calming, grounding and quietly supporting the body while the world feels a little louder than usual.

This edit reflects what I’ve genuinely leaned on this month. Products that don’t demand more from you, but instead help you settle back into yourself. Some nourish, some soothe, some simply make the day feel better structured. All are Well Used & Well Loved.

Bon Charge PEMF Mat

Yes, I’m including it again. January calls for grounding.

This month, the PEMF mat has been less about performance and more about regulation. I use it to calm my body, settle my nervous system and create a sense of physical grounding when everything feels a little untethered. I’ve been sitting on it whilst I’m working and when my head is in spread sheets but it’s also become part of my wind-down ritual, often paired with a good rom com (more on that later) or my diary entries in the evening.

Nothing dramatic. Just a steady signal of safety to the body. And that, in January, is everything.

Holy Cacao Bars

I’m obsessed with their hot chocolate powder, so these were inevitable.

The bars feel like the most practical way to enjoy Holy Cacao on the go. Same clean ingredients, same exceptional sourcing, same rich, grounding flavour. No fillers, no unnecessary sweetness. Just high-quality cacao that actually satisfies.

Perfect for travel days, long afternoons or that post-lunch moment when you want something comforting without the crash.

Colourful Supplement Case

Small change, big impact that makes me feel like I am really in control of my routine.

January is when consistency matters most, and this has made my routine feel lighter and more intuitive. Seeing everything laid out removes friction and fatigue. It’s not about aesthetic wellness, it’s about making daily routine easier to maintain and remove one more thing to think about.

Sometimes the most supportive tools are the least glamorous.

Organised Nutrition Organ Blend Powder

This feels like the powdered multivitamin, the way nature intended.

Founded and formulated by my dear friend Niall, Organised are the world's first all-in-one, 100% grass-fed beef organ blend. Entirely made from whole foods, they’re restoring the lost nutrients from modern day food and making it easy, accessible and delicious.

Since adding this in, I’ve noticed tangible changes. My hair feels stronger, my bones feel more resilient, and overall there’s a sense of deeper nourishment rather than surface-level supplementation.

I personally have been adding it to my morning Cacao ritual or blitzing into a smoothie to reap in the benefits.

Artah Health Skin Clinic

I’ve always known skin starts from within. I am a skin practitioner, after all.

What I love about this product is how intelligently it blends some of my favourite skin-supportive nutrients. Hyaluronic acid for hydration, zinc for repair and inflammation balance, peptides for structure and resilience, and lycopene for antioxidant protection. It’s skin nutrition done properly, not just skincare marketing.

It’s also perfectly timed for this point in the year when, let’s be honest, most of us are dry, dull and feeling a bit gross. Supporting skin internally during winter makes far more sense than trying to rescue it topically. Since adding this in, my skin feels calmer, more hydrated and noticeably more robust.

Sometimes the most effective skincare doesn’t sit on your shelf. It sits in your routine.

MERIT Lip Oil

I’m obsessed with MERIT, and this is why.

Their products sit at the intersection of clean, natural and genuinely wearable. But what really resonates is the ingredient philosophy. We’re meticulous about what goes into our food, yet forget that we unconsciously ingest our lip products every single day.

If purity matters on your plate, it should matter on your lips too. This ticks both boxes beautifully whilst hydrating your lips with a nourishing oil at the same time as giving a pop of colour.

The One Before the One by Emma Cooper

This year, I’ve told myself I’m going to read more fiction. Good Reads now has a challenge section and don’t you know I am intending to make use of it. This is the first book of the year and it’s a gentle, reflective January read.

This book feels made for winter evenings. Thoughtful without being heavy, romantic without being soppy and touching on the side of mystery in the way I quite enjoy. It explores timing, self-trust and the quieter chapters that shape who we become before things fall into place.

Best enjoyed slowly, with low lighting, in the bath with my favourite NEOM candle burning and no scrolling.

The January Edit

Everything here shares a common theme. Calm over intensity. Nourishment over restriction. Systems that support rather than demand.

A gentle reminder that January is still winter, not the month for discipline theatre. Less optimisation, more preservation. It’s the month for nourishment, sleep and saying no.

There’s going to be a lot of screen time and meetings but there’s also daily bone broth cacao, supplements back in rotation, Gail’s hot chocolates catching up with friends and the odd spicy marg too.
