Your Wellness-First Prime Day Shopping List - Home Addition
Gird your loins, Prime Day is coming, which means one thing: the internet is about to become very good at convincing us we need things we absolutely do not need.
So, in the spirit of avoiding adding 47 vaguely useful gadgets to your basket at 1 am, we at The Well Edit have done the digging for you. These are the wellness-meets-home brands actually worth knowing about; from clever kitchen upgrades to better showers, better sleep and the little swaps that make your home feel a lot more considered, taking on one toxic-free upgrade at a time.
Think Lumie lamps, titanium pans from Our Place and the Hello Klean shower head that makes a surprisingly compelling case for taking your water seriously.
Ten brands. Ten genuinely useful upgrades. And, importantly, nothing that’s going to end up gathering dust in a drawer.
Consider this your trusty Prime Day edit - before the panic-buying begins.
Lumie Sunrise Alarm Clock
Usual price: £49.99, Prime Day price: £35.24
Imagine a device that didn’t jolt you awake every morning, but gradually woke you with the gentle light of a sunrise, instead. That’s essentially what the Lumie Bodyclock does – and, having recently invested in one, I’m already wondering how I ever woke up without it. How is this good for my wellbeing, you might ask?
Well, it's actually quite clever: light is one of the main signals that tells your body clock when it’s time to wake, so gradually introducing it in the morning can help your brain and body shift out of sleep more naturally. Studies have found dawn simulation can reduce that groggy, half-dead feeling after waking and improve alertness, too. A simple addition to your bedroom, yes, but one that can make your mornings feel slightly more civilised.
Our Place Titanium Always Pan Pro
Usual price: £165, Prime Day price: £89.99
I’m increasingly interested in the less obvious side of wellness: the everyday objects we use without really thinking about what they’re made from. Our Place’s Titanium Always Pan Pro is a good example. It’s coating-free and PFAS-free, made from titanium and stainless steel rather than traditional non-stick materials. There’s something rather appealing about gradually removing the unnecessary nasties from the things we use every day and replacing them with better, more considered choices.
So, if this Prime Day you’re looking to make a few smarter swaps, rather than overhaul each item in your home, start with the things you use most. Given how often we cook, this feels like a pretty good place to begin.
Hello Klean Hard Water Shower Filter
Usual price: £75, Prime Day price: £60
We spend a lot of time, money and energy choosing the right products for our skin and hair, but rarely stop to consider the water we’re using them with. Hello Klean’s Shower Head is designed to reduce chlorine and unwanted impurities in your shower water, including certain heavy metals, which can contribute to dryness, irritation and that not-so-fresh feeling on skin and hair. Hello Klean says its filter reduces up to 97% of chlorine, with independent SGS testing to back this up.
For me, this is exactly the kind of wellness switch that makes sense, and one I'll be investing in this Prime Day: rather than adding another serum, supplement or step to your routine, why not start with the water itself? Hello Klean is offering up to 25% off all products available on Amazon.
nutribullet blender 600 series
Usual price: £69.99, Prime Day price: £46.99
If you’re looking to make a few better-for-you swaps this Prime Day, a Nutribullet is a pretty easy one to justify. I use mine for everything from breakfast smoothies to blitzing leftover fruit and veg, making it much easier to get more whole foods into my day without much effort.
The 600W motor makes light work of fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds, and its compact size means it doesn’t demand half your kitchen counter. It’s one of those everyday appliances that earns its place by actually getting used.
oura ring 4
I’ve had my Oura Ring for a while now, and annoyingly, it’s become very good at calling me out. A late night, too many glasses of wine, a week of poor sleep – the data tends to make itself known the next morning. But that’s also why I love it: it’s made me much more aware of the habits that genuinely affect how I feel, and has nudged me towards better sleep, more movement and knowing when to take it easier. It tracks everything from sleep and recovery to heart rate, stress and activity, giving you a much clearer picture of how your day-to-day habits are stacking up.
So, if you’re looking to understand your health a little better rather than simply buy another gadget you’ll forget to use, this is one I’d genuinely recommend looking out for this Prime Day.
Pricing ranges from £199-£229 depending on the finish. Gold & Ceramic finishes - £229, all other finishes - £199
SURI Pro Sonic Electric Toothbrush
Usual price: £85, Prime Day price: £67.99
Right, let’s discuss a slightly more unglamorous everyday essential: the humble toothbrush. If you’re going to upgrade something you use twice a day, this is a pretty good place to start. SURI’s electric toothbrush gives you a thorough sonic clean, with a two-minute timer and pressure sensor to help you brush properly without overthinking it. I also like the more considered design, from the plant-based, recyclable brush heads to the UV-C cleaning case. Not the most exciting Prime Day purchase, perhaps, but your teeth will probably thank you for it.
black and blum tupperware
Prime Day price: £14.99
As of late, I’ve been rather hot on swapping out plastic tupperware for less questionable alternatives - and, honestly, this might be one of the simplest and most important wellness swaps you can make. We store our food in these containers day after day, often reheating it in them, so I’d much rather use something made from high-quality 18/8 stainless steel than keep reaching for old plastic tubs. Black+Blum’s version is BPA-free, leak-proof and, unusually, microwave-safe, so you don’t have to sacrifice convenience either.
For me, this is what better wellness looks like: not another thing to add to your routine, but quietly removing some of the unnecessary stuff from the things you already use every day.
Ninja Crispi
Usual price: £159.99, Prime Day price: £130.00
Air fryer: the kitchen gadget we all seem to own, but could probably justify upgrading. Ninja’s CRISPi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer takes things up a notch with a compact design, a powerful 1700W PowerPod and two CleanCrisp glass containers, so you can go from cooking to storing leftovers without adding another mountain of washing up.
With Air Fry, Roast, Recrisp and Keep Warm functions, it’s handy for everything from speedy midweek meals to reviving last night’s leftovers - and its compact, portable design means it won’t take over your kitchen worktop. If you’ve been tempted to invest in a new air fryer, a good deal could be the perfect excuse to finally make the switch.
SILK 100% QUEEN SILK PILLOW CASE
Usual price: £110, Prime Day price: £70.12
As a 100% silk pillowcase convert, I cannot recommend making the switch enough. And while it might seem like a slightly frivolous wellness buy, I actually think it’s one of the easiest: you’re spending around eight hours a night with it. Slip’s 100% pure silk creates less friction against your hair and skin than cotton, which can help reduce hair breakage, morning frizz and those telltale pillow creases.
For me, it’s about making one of the most basic parts of your day - going to bed - a little better, without adding another step to your routine. If you’re looking for a simple wellness upgrade this Prime Day, this is a very good place to start.
