Banana Cream Iced Matcha Latte Recipe

If you love café-style iced drinks but want a healthier, more nourishing option, this Banana Cream Iced Matcha Latte is the go to matcha latte recipe. It’s naturally sweet, creamy, and packed with nutrients, made with ripe banana, Medjool date, and organic raw milk. The earthy, smooth matcha flavor blends beautifully with the banana cream for a drink that tastes like dessert but fuels like breakfast.

Prefer coffee? Swap the matcha for a shot of espresso and create your own banana cream iced latte variation.

Prefer dairy free? We’d say swap to Pistachio or Coconut Milk for the same creamy texture.

Ingredients for Banana Cream Iced Matcha Latte:

  • 1 tsp ceremonial grade matcha powder

  • ½ ripe banana

  • 1 Medjool date, pitted

  • 1 scoop Organised (optional supplement)

  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or ground cinnamon

  • 230 ml (1 cup) organic raw milk or your choice of milk

  • Plenty of ice cubes

How to Make a Banana Cream Iced Matcha Latte

Prepare the Matcha:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with 2–3 tablespoons of warm water using a bamboo whisk or electric frother. Mix until smooth and frothy with no clumps.

  2. Blend the Banana Cream:
Add banana, date, Organised (if using), raw milk, and vanilla or cinnamon to a blender. Blend on high until smooth, creamy, and well combined.

  3. Build the Iced Latte:
Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour in the banana cream mixture first.

  4. Add the Matcha Layer:
Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the banana cream base. For a beautiful layered look, pour gently over the back of a spoon. Stir before sipping.

Optional Swaps & Tips

  • Espresso Version: Replace the matcha with one shot of espresso for a banana cream iced coffee alternative.

  • Vegan Option: Use pistachio milk, almond milk, or coconut milk instead of raw milk for a dairy-free latte.

  • Extra Energy Boost: Add a scoop of protein powder or collagen for a post-workout pick-me-up.
