DR LEAH AUSTIN

Dr Leah Austin graduated from Newcastle University in 2007 and completed her GP training in 2014. She has since worked as a General Practitioner across the North East, Yorkshire, London, and internationally in Beijing, gaining broad clinical experience across diverse healthcare systems.

During her time in the NHS, Dr Austin became increasingly aware of the limitations of standard 10-minute consultations, particularly in managing complex and chronic health conditions. This led her to pursue a more integrative approach to care - one that allows for deeper understanding and truly personalised treatment.

With a mixed Chinese and English heritage, she developed a strong interest in Eastern medicine and its alignment with a more holistic view of health. Combined with her own personal and family health experiences, this inspired her to further her training in nutrition. She qualified as a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2017.

Dr Austin now specialises in longevity and preventative medicine, with expertise in chronic health conditions, digestive health, women’s health and hormones, weight management, and genomics. She takes a systems-based, 360-degree approach - integrating lifestyle, nutrition, medical, genetic, and environmental factors - to create highly personalised programmes designed to optimise long-term health outcomes
