Joey Lee is a freelance writer working in brand, with background in academic and creative writing. 

Having crafted messaging for many brands across the world - with a focus on tech, health and wellness - he’s currently Language Lead at Unfound Studio, helping brands to show up in culture with an authentic voice. 

Through his academic and creative writing, Joey explores interactions in society and the systems people live by. Putting his Creative Writing MA into practice, language and identity is front and centre in his work, from personal poetry to publications such as Bread Alone: What happens when we run out of working-class writers?

A lover of moving in the outdoors, Joey makes time to go ‘analogue’, ditching digital when deadlines allow. As a keen runner, especially on trails, he often finds places to forage ingredients to make natural meals and remedies at home. 

Proudly from the Black Country, UK, Joey is now based on the South Coast in Brighton. He balances time by the seaside with working at creative studios in London and remotely with clients around the globe.
